About Me

Profile

Joan sitting on a tree branch

From inner-city Detroit to a prestigious business school in Lyon, France, Joan established herself as an international trainer, offering seminars throughout Europe. Her passion for the healing arts began there with training in Yoga, shiatsu, Tai Chi Chuan, massage, and therapeutic relaxation and visualization techniques.

Joan has a private practice in Guelph, Ontario. She has lived and worked on three continents and treated clients of all ages and from all over the world. She has taught at the university, adult education, elementary, and high school levels and has run workshops and seminars for teachers, practitioners, therapists, and managers in Europe, North America, and South America. She is the former founding member and CEO of the Centre for Neurological Development and Integration, Inc. She offers her services in English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Joan says: My unique approach represents a marriage between Western pragmatism and Eastern healing arts. Through study and training I am continually seeking better ways to support and enhance the process of growth for my clients and myself.
